Platon Tecnologia em Nuvem was founded on July 27, 2012, in Lages, in the Serra Catarinense region, with the goal of making people's daily lives easier through personalized service in cloud technology solutions.
Technology inspired by you
The “Platon” brand was originally created as a reference and tribute to the Greek philosopher Plato. The philosopher, whose work inspired and motivated numerous studies, even after his death, was known as Πλάτων, which in literal translation is nothing other than “Platon”.
This tribute goes beyond the name, extending to the visual set used in its brand, which features structures known as the “ÁGORA”, the squares of ancient Greek cities, known for being the place where the market was set up and which often served for the assemblies of the people, where the great thinkers expressed their ideas.
Through this concept, and drawing on the journey of the philosopher Plato and his doctrines, Platon brought originality and purpose to its brand and business, with the overarching goal of rethinking the technology solutions that exist in society in order to constantly develop new technologies and refine them.

All of Platon's plans offer real space and resources that can genuinely be delivered to the customer. We do not work with “unlimited space policies”, because there is no technology for that — there will always be a limit, and Platon values honesty with its customers and partners.
To ensure security, stability, and speed in your applications, Platon's entire technological infrastructure is maintained in co-location with major Data Centers in Brazil and around the world, namely Ascenty (Campinas-SP), Cologix NetAccess (New Jersey), and TELX MIA2 (Miami); all of these data centers hold several quality certifications, such as TIER III, ISO 27001, SSAE 16, and ISAE 3402 Type II.
